KMTA Young Professionals Network

The Kentucky Music Teacher Association is excited to be forming a Young Professionals Network!

This new initiative is aimed at increasing our support for current and future careers of our young music performers and educators. We will be officially launching the network in the near future, but we are currently focused on finding out what areas our young professionals feel they need the most support and how they feel they can best be of help to others.

We have created a very short survey (7 questions, and finished in about 2 minutes) and are trying to reach as many people in the state as possible. If you know any piano or voice teachers that you would consider a “young professional” would you please pass on this survey to them to fill out. They DO NOT need to be current members of the KMTA to fill out the survey. Here is the link that you can share: https://www.questionpro.com/t/ANvtKZa6qB.

The Young Professional Network will be open to anyone who considers themselves young professionals or anyone who is interested in supporting or mentoring the careers of young professionals, regardless of age. However, for survey purposes, we are currently looking for input from those who would consider themselves or you would consider to be “young” professionals.

Please share this survey with those who come to mind, especially those who may not currently be associated with the KMTA.

We are dedicated to sustaining our profession and our up-and-coming generation of performers and teachers are a large key to achieving that goal.
