2025 KMTA Chamber Music Workshop

The KMTA chamber music workshop provides attendees an introduction to the art of
chamber music. This is an opportunity for students to receive individualized coaching on repertoire as well as to develop skills in collaborative music making.

The day will consist of masterclass coaching sessions, a chamber music clinic, a chamber music concert, and a final concert for all attendees. Clinicians include Dr. Blake Johnson, Dr. Saulo Moura, and Dr. Jamie Killion. 

This event is open to all students from ninth grade to the graduate level. All instruments (wind, brass, string, and keyboard) and voice types are welcome. 

Date and Location:

Saturday, March 29 at Campbellsville University, Gosser Fine Arts Center (210 University Drive, Campbellsville, KY 42718).

Schedule:

Registration: 8:00 am
Opening Meeting: 8:40 am
Masterclass Session 1: 9:00 am
Clinic on Collaborative Music Making: 11:00 am
Lunch: 12:15 pm (in Winters Dining Hall, included with registration)
Chamber Music Concert: 1:45 pm
Masterclass Session 2: 3:00 pm
Dinner: 5:00 pm (on own, recommendations provided on day of event)
Final Concert: 6:30 pm

Cost:

The cost is $35 for a single participant. Lunch is included in this cost, but dinner is not.
