Two Performance Opportunities for KMTA Students!

Dear KMTA members!

I just wanted to remind you of the first opportunity for students this year:

January 28th – KMTA Recital

This is a recital dedicated to KMTA Members. Students from any age and level will be playing at the Gifford Theater (EKU). From elementary to graduate students are welcome. We even have two pianos in case you want your student to play a concerto. Recital at 3:00 pm. Free to play, free to attend.

Send the name of the student, repertoire, approximate length of piece(s) to me (bernardo.scarambone@eku.edu). Non-members are welcome if recommended by a KMTA member.

* We will have a wide range of levels and repertoire – from a Prokofiev sonata to the “Pokemon Theme”

* any voice and instruments are welcome as well.

ALSO:

February 11th – I Love Music: A Valentine Experience

The non-competitive concert (“I Love Music: A Valentine Extravaganza”), featuring students of BAMTA teachers (any instruments/voice types), will occur at Lexington Theological Seminary on February 11th at 3 p.m.  For more information about this event and if you have students interested in sharing their beautiful music, please send the application form to Jae Won Kim by January 23rd. For questions about the recital, please contact Jae Won Kim atjaewon.kim@kysu.edu.

Thank you very much, and I hope to see everyone at those events!
